ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Becoming a Big isn’t the only way to contribute to our mission of mentoring. Check out our Additional Volunteer Opportunities and find something that fits your schedule, your interests, and your talents. Whether you join us as a one-time volunteer or make a longer commitment, we need your support to build lifelong relationships for youth in Dane County.

JOIN A COMMITTEE:

Help organize one of these events by signing up to become a member of an event committee. (As a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization, we rely on committee members to help us accomplish the many things we need to be successful.)  Committee members sit in on monthly meetings, sort out logistics, and give input during the planning process.

VOLUNTEER AT AN EVENT:

For a short-term commitment, sign up to be an event volunteer for the day. Help with greeting guests at registration or put your photography skills to work; events are an all-hands-on-deck affair and we could always use an extra pair! If you're interested, please fill out this Form and we'll reach out when we're in need of event volunteers.

GET YOUR COMPANY INVOLVED:

Does your company sponsor events or host career development activities? Maybe you want your coworkers to learn more about becoming a Big? There are a ton of ways for companies to engage with our agency, just give us a call!

INTERNSHIPS:

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County also offers internships throughout the year. Internships are available in the areas of fund development, communications, and social work. Join our team to develop your professional skills while making a difference in the community.

No matter how much time or money you have, you are able to make a lifelong positive impact on a child’s life. For more information about any of these opportunities contact us at reception@bbbsmadison.org or 608-661-5437.
