Right now, children in Sun Prairie and East Madison are waiting for someone they can count on. Not somewhere across the state. Not even across Dane County. Right here in your community.

Some boys in Sun Prairie have been waiting more than 300 days to be matched with a mentor, with boys requesting a Big Brother often facing the longest waits. Behind every day on the waitlist is a young person looking for encouragement, connection, and a trusted adult who will simply show up and be there for them.

That's where you come in.

WHY SUN PRAIRIE AND EAST MADISON?

Most children enrolling in our program live on Madison’s East Side and in Sun Prairie, making these communities our highest priority for volunteer recruitment. Right now, dozens of local kids have been waiting more than a year to be matched with a caring adult mentor because there aren’t enough volunteers nearby.

The solution is simple: people who live, work, and care about these neighborhoods stepping forward to build a life-changing friendship with a young person who needs them.
